09 Mar 2016CAI Zaragoza basketball team visited Podoactiva Head Office in Walqa Technological Park to carry out different biomechanical gait studies in order to manufacture personalised insoles which they will use in the Endesa League.
This is the sixth season that the Aragonese team has visited Podoactiva. For this, the technical team headed by Víctor Alfaro carried out static and dynamic analysis using pressure platforms, muscular and articular examination, high speed filming on a specialist basketball surface and 3D scan,the Aragonese company’s worldwide exclusive technology.
Afterwards, in under two hours, personalised insoles were designed and manufactured for José Luis Abos’ players, providing them with better adaptation, a lighter weight, better transpiration, better dynamic response, and the manufacture of exact replicas if necessary, as the manufacture is robotized.
The new incorporations into the team were present, Bracey Wright, Pablo Almazán, Albert Fontet, Jacob Burtschi and Jon Stefansson. insoles were used last Saturday in the friendly match against Lagun Aro.
