
2010 12th edition of the National Youth Entrepreneur Award

Victor Alfaro, Director General of Podoactiva, received the Highly Commended Innovation award in the twelfth edition of the Young National Entrepreneur Award, an award he was nominated for, along with 17 other entrepreneurs across Spain.
Prince Don Felipe presented the award to Victor Alfaro during a ceremony which took place in Pamplona.
The National Young Entrepreneur Award is aimed at all young Spanish entrepreneurs under 40 who have managed to consolidate their business project successfully and viably.
Tomás Diago Esteve of Softonic was awarded the National Young Entrepreneur Award, Iñaki Garmendia Urquizu of Ega Master was highly commended for Continuity in the Next Generation, Cristian Rovira Pardo of the Sifu Group was highly commended for Social Commitment and Oscar Landeta Elorz of Certest, highly commended for Internationalization .
This award was created in 1989 to recognize the efforts of young entrepreneurs; people who have focused their aspirations on creating their own business and who have not only managed to set up their project, but also, with effort and tenacity, to attain viability and consolidation.
The prize-winner is chosen by an independent jury of various people of recognized standing. The jury evaluates and selects the projects to be considered, emphasizing the consolidation of the development of its business as well as its contribution in particular to the generation of wealth in the surrounding area and the creation of jobs in our society.
